This is a .pdf PATTERN to make your own small (will hold a 2.75” diameter pot) elephant planter cosie.

I would describe this pattern as intermediate but I provide links to video tutorials I’ve made for the trickier stitches/techniques in the pattern file in case you are still pretty new to crochet but just really want to try and make one (or a whole herd of!) of these cuties.

The pattern calls for two strands of ww yarn. I recommend a stiff acrylic yarn (which happen to be cheaper too!). An elephant can be made, using less than a full skein. Make sure to use 2 strands of ww yarn held together to obtain gauge!

single crochet
increase
half double crochet
double crochet
treble crochet
invisible decrease (tutorial link included in pattern file)
working in the round (both joined and continuous- tutorial link included in pattern file )
