This pattern is available from etsy.com for $4.00.

You will receive a digital file of the PATTERN to make your own small (will hold a 2.5-2.75” diameter pot) frog planter cosie.

I would describe this pattern as intermediate but I provide links to video tutorials I’ve made for the trickier stitches/techniques in the pattern file in case you are still pretty new to crochet but just really want to try and make one of these cuties.

This frog is worked using 2 strands of worsted weight or aran yarn held together. I use a stiffer, acrylic yarn like Impeccable, Craftsmart, or Red Heart Supersaver so it doesn’t droop. I can make at least 2 frogs with one skein of any of those yarns, with some leftover.

Materials you’ll need:
6.5 mm (US K) hook
5 mm (US H) hook
Worsted weight (ww) yarn in Green (or any color you like).
Stitch marker or piece of yarn (in a different color than the one you are working with so you can see it easily!)
Small amount of black yarn or embroidery floss for the eyes and mouth
Scissors
Tape measure/ruler
Embroidery needle
2.5 - 2.75 inch diameter (widest/topmost diameter) pot. Should be about 2.5 inches tall.
