These little washcloths are quick to crochet and make nice additions to baby and birthday gift bags or bridal shower favors. I have made literally hundreds of these in large and small varieties. Great to sell at bazaars as well. Stitches used are chain stitch, single crochet, triple crochet, and slip stitch to join. About 40 yards of Sugar’n Cream are needed to make the plain washcloth.

This pattern has an optional ruffle made using a single crochet and chain stitch. There is sufficient yard in one skein to make the ruffle the same color as the washcloth. Approximately 30 yards of contrasting yarn will be needed to make the ruffle a different color than the actual washcloth.
