Knit using 3.5mm (US #4) and 4 mm (US #6) circular or double pointed needles with a medium weight DK or worsted (#4) wool (appx 192 m per 115 gm/210 yds per 4 oz skein) to achieve a gauge of approximately 22 stitches and 26 rows to a 10 cm (4”) square when knit in a stockinette stitch.

NOTE: Based on the information noted above, you will need a single 115 g (4 oz) skein of DK or worsted weight wool for these mittens. This pattern includes sizing for small/medium mittens, with sizing for medium/large mittens in squared brackets.
