Designed for a variety of yarn weights, the Snitch Seeker Hat will keep wizards of all ages warm in all kinds of weather (mysterious or not).

Makes a hat +/- 20-21” in diameter.

Materials:
Yarn: (3) 50g skeins of yarn in contrasting colors of your choosing (1 skein each color). Match your house colors or choose to be different.
Needles:
• FINGERING WEIGHT = US 2 & US 3 16” circular and double-pointed needles (use DPN to finish the top of the hat or whatever method you prefer for small circumference knitting).
• DK WEIGHT = US 3 & US 4 16” circular and double-pointed needles (use DPN to finish the top of the hat or whatever method you prefer for small circumference knitting).
• WORSTED WEIGHT = US 5 & US 6 16” circular and double-pointed needles (use DPN to finish the top of the hat or whatever method you prefer for small circumference knitting).
You will also need these materials:
• Stitch markers: 1 distinctive one to mark beginning of round and 7-11 more to separate pattern repeats.
• A tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Gauge (confirm your yarn weight) – all in stockinette stitch:
Fingering Weight US 3 needles 26-28 st x 40 rows = 4”
DK Weight US 4 needles 21-22 st x 37 rows = 4”
Worsted Weight US 6 needles 18-19 st x 32 rows = 4”
