This pattern is a little gift to celebrate 3 years of Amikihia Knits!

The cable motif symbolises snow and this hat is about being cosy when the snow is gently falling!

The hat is cast on and a simple cable pattern is worked, changing needles size halfway through, so the cable pattern acts as the rib band. The hat body changes to stockinette and the crown is shaped with decreases before closing at the crown. A pom-pom may be added if desired.

The sample is worked in a fingering weight yarn and mohair silk yarn held together, but it could also be worked with one strand of DK weight yarn.
