This is for the PDF pattern only, and is a wonderful hat for cold wet areas. The wool I used is Lion Brand Fishermen’s wool, which means it still has the lanolin in the wool that repels moisture. While not completely waterproof, it will retain your body heat even if it does get wet.

This is a new stitch pattern for me and I have yet to find a name for it. I was playing around and just came up with it. The stitches make little diamonds. I added a tiny tassel on top for fun. The sides roll up.

Hat will fit teen to adult males. Of course, if you make the smallest size given, it will fit a woman as well.
