This pattern of a lovely Japanese macaque was made with love and inspired by nature. The toy may be a lovely gift to a child or monkey lover.

The pattern requires medium crocheting and sewing skills, as well as involves some simple work with craft wire and glue. It includes illustrations and photos that show how to perform some elements.

In the pattern two options for the frame are given:
1) for the toy to remain very soft and be fixed only slightly in some postures;
2) for the toy to be able to be fixed in any postures, e.g. sit with legs hanging down and hold its back straight without support.
You may also not use the frame at all if you prefer.
