The Snowflake Hexagon is ideal for winter blankets, pillows and garments that can be constructed with hexagons. Crocheted with two colors, it is a stunning eye-catcher everyone will admire!

My fingers were itching to make my first winter blanket, and I thought a snowflake would be a good start.
So here’s the pattern!

Materials:
You can use any yarn and recommended hook size you like.

  • For the tutorial, I used MyBoshi No.2, a cotton/kapok yarn with medium weight and a 4 mm crochet hook. I needed 17 g of the color “Titangrau” (background) and 10 g of the color “White” (snowflake)
  • Scissors
  • Needle to weave in the ends

With the yarn and materials listed above, the Snowflake Hexagon will measure ca. 20 cm or 7,9 in after blocking.
