Snowflake Ornament Trio
Make your own crochet snowflake ornaments!
Skill Level: Easy/Experienced Beginner
US Terminology
This is a pattern for 3 crochet snowflakes that all start with the same first 2 rounds for the center, then the remaining rounds differ in order to give you 3 unique and beautiful snowflake designs of different shapes and sizes.
These make lovely christmas tree ornaments, window decorations, use to decorate wrapped gifts, include inside holiday cards, or combine into a garland (garland instructions included).
The pattern calls for Premier Cotton Fair yarn which is my favorite yarn to create these snowflake ornaments with, but feel free to try out other yarns as well. This is a great project to use up small quantities of leftover yarn since they require very little yardage.
The pattern is worked in just 4 rounds for the smaller snowflakes and 5 rounds for the larger snowflake. It includes a pattern symbol chart for all 3 snowflake designs, written pattern instructions, step by step photos, and links to video tutorials.
With the right yarn and a tighter tension, these crochet snowflakes will hold their shape and not flop, so there is no need to starch them (many other crochet snowflake ornament patterns require starching, but I design mine so that this is not necessary).
