The Snowflakes and Roses Mitten pattern has a delightful Ram’s Horn Rose on one side and a detailed snowflake pattern on the other. Mix and match the location of these patterns to make a different combinations!

This is a 62-stitch mitten. Made with sport weight yarn on 2.75mm (US2) needles, it has a gauge of 16 stitches and 17 rows per 2” (5cm) square and fits my hand - Women’s Medium/Large. Adjust the size of the mitten by changing the gauge - either by changing the weight of the yarn or the needle size - or both.

The pattern was written for Magic Loop, but testers tested on DPN’s.

Note: In testing there was a wide range of yarn quantities used. Everywhere from 25% CC/ 75% MC up to 40% CC/ 60% MC.

Here is a great video for picking up stitches in a mitten thumb that doesn’t leave a gap that needs to be sewn in later. In this video, you pick up the stitches, and then decrease them out. For my pattern, you’ll just work them.
