Materials Needed
Yarn: Bulky or Worsted Weight yarn (acrylic or cotton) in white and red. Small amount of black yarn (preferably DK yarn) for the buttons.
Hook: 5 mm crochet hook
A tapestry needle
A pair of scissors
Abbreviations
Ch = Chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
flo = front loop only
sl st = slip stitch
st = stitch
sts = stitches
fo = fasten off

Gauge
Gauge = 6 dc and 3 rows with a 5 mm crochet hook = 5 cm (2.5”).
Height by width = (17 cm x 9.5 cm) (6.5 inches x 3.7 inches)
