This hat is knitted from the bottom up with a double thick cuff and stranded colorwork. The contrast color is two yarns held together, specifically a sock weight yarn and a lace weight yarn. This allows just a little bit of mohair and silk to be mixed in causing the colorwork to really pop and glow.

This pattern is fully charted. Crown shaping and colorwork instructions are included only as charts.

The sample is a size B (19 inches / 49 cm circumference) worked with a main color of Malabrigo Arroyo in Candombe (870) and a contrast color of Malabrigo Ultimate Sock in Natural (063) held together with Biches & Bûches Le Petit Silk & Mohair in Off White.
