Meet Snuggles the Snowman - the Christmas decoration that you can cuddle! He is made from a super-soft, fleecy, bulky-weight yarn, with fingering-weight yarn used for the nose, DK-weight yarn for the hat and scarf, and safety eyes plus a little sewing for the mouth. It is stuffed with toy stuffing along with a bag with weighted beads in it, so that he sits firmly on the mantlepiece.

The body, arms, nose, and hat are knit in the round, while the scarf is made using the double knitting technique. The pattern for the hat is done using stranded knitting and there is a chart along with written instructions.

For the elements knit in the round, this pattern assumes you are using the magic loop method, but it could work just as well on double-pointed needles, if you prefer.
