This pretty v-neck coat duo was designed for the #5359 Snuggly Baby Bamboo DK brochure by Sirdar. The garments feature set-in sleeves and striped chevron lace details at the body. After being knit flat from the bottom up to the armholes as one piece, the stocking stitch chest is worked into 3 separate sections. The sleeves are then worked cuff upwards, and both garments are seamed together. The garter stitch neck and front borders are then added before the buttons are sewn in.

TENSION

• 22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm, (4in) over stocking stitch on 4.0mm needles or the size required to give correct tension.
• A 4mm (UK8 - USA6) 80cm Circular Needle is needed for the body.
• Check your tension - if less stitches use a thinner needle, if more use a thicker needle.
