Materials:

100 yards of worsted weight in the main color
50 yards of worsted weight in complementary color
3.50mm crochet hook (size E/4)
pair of safety eyes (can substitute black yarn or thread)
polyfill for stuffing
yarn needle for sewing pieces together

Gauge is not important for this pattern, as long as your stitches are tight enough to seal the stuffing. Typically, if the stitches are tighter, the end result looks cleaner. Feel free to go up a hook size if that permits more comfortable crocheting!
