A little ‘Sock Yarn Bear Jacket’ to fit Tearoom Bears, Little Yarn Dolls and the Tearoom Cat…

Fits bear or doll size: approx 28 - 29cm (11 - 11.5”) tall

Skill level: Intermediate

Knitting Method: worked ‘back and forth’ on 2 knitting needles

2 Bear Jacket Options….
Worked ‘Top Down’ or ‘Bottom Up’ (also with the option to work the sleeves ‘in the round’ if preferred)
Both methods of the pattern are designed to provide continuity for a self patterning sock yarn and you may prefer to knit the jacket one way or the other depending on how you would like to use the pattern.
The design requires very little sewing on finishing
(and the jacket is completely seamless if sleeves are worked ‘in the round’)

Yarn:
4 ply (fingering) weight sock yarn (pattern uses self-patterning yarns)

Knitting Needles:
3mm Straight Knitting Needles (plus 3mm dpns if choosing option to work sleeves ‘in the round’)

Skills needed:
Basic knitting stitches plus…
Holding sleeve stitches on waste yarn (top down) or spare knitting needle/stitch holder (bottom up)
Using stitch markers, long tail cast on and cable cast on
