Ever wanted to be one of those people who can knit a sock in one evening? Here’s an easy way to do it; you’ll end up with a tiny socklet that is quick, adorable, and uses just a little scrap fingering yarn.

This is a decorative mini-stocking for Christmas or other decorative use. There are lots of similar patterns on Ravelry, but I couldn’t find one using my using my favorite sock construction - toe up together with a flap-and-gusset heel - so I made one up. It finishes with a quick-to-do crochet bind-off and a hanging loop, ready to be hung up for decoration. The pattern is easy to customize if you want to add stripes or other patterning.

Errata: An update to the PDF has been published on 11/27, with some corrections to the numbers of stitches in the heel section.
