Sometimes, you just want to relax while knitting and still produce something pretty. This is especially easy with (sock)yarns, that create a pattern “all by themselves” with their colour gradient. I still had one of those yarns lying around and decided to make it into socks.
To use at least some of my creativity, I added extra vertical, horizontal ore diagonal stripes with some very easy patterns. This makes the socks more interesting and also pretty, right? “Pimp my socks” was my motto. Next time, I want to try this with another ock yarn. So – get your needles and make the design your own!

Manchmal möchte man beim Stricken einfach nur entspannen und trotzdem etwas Schönes herstellen. Das gelingt besonders einfach mit (Strumpf)Garnen, mit denen durch Farbübergänge sozusagen von selbst ein Muster entsteht. Ein solches Garn hatte ich noch im Schrank und habe es für diese Strümpfe verstrickt.

Damit aber noch ein wenig eigene Kreativität dabei ist, habe ich durch drei sehr einfache Muster zusätzliche Längs-, Quer oder Diagonal-Streifen eingefügt. Das ist spannender und sieht doch wirklich schön aus, findet Ihr nicht? „Pimp me up“ war das Motto. Ich will es demnächst auch noch mit anderer Strumpfwolle ausprobieren. Also: an die Nadeln, macht es zu Eurem Design!
