Soffritto
This is suitable for anyone with intermediate skills or a confident / advanced beginner, written in UK terminology.
Download a full written pattern for each style along with a charted pattern, as 4 PDFs, delivered as a .zip file for you to download and keep*
Make a scarf / neck collar in 2 different options: shaped or rectangular
Designed as a collaboration with Kosy Kitchen Fibres and with flexibility in mind, each of these items can be made using one 100g skein (400m) of 4ply yarn, a 3.75mm hook, and simple stitches of doubles, half trebles and trebles along with some chains, which combine to make a sampler style garment, full of texture and supremely comfortable.
Of course, it can be adapted to become the length you want easily and would be ideal for multistranding or combining a mixture of leftovers.
The pattern can be downloaded here from my site, or bought as part of a kit from Kosy Kitchen Fibres
If purchasing a kit you will find it includes a skein of Fiona’s gorgeous hand painted yarn, a 3.75mm hook and one of my handmade, unique and themed flame painted, copper coiled stitch-keepers, which doubles as a shawl pin along with a unique code to use at checkout with me to enable you to download all the pattern files at no additional cost
If you choose to print the pattern, I would recommend you read through first so you can select which pages to print, thereby keeping wastage to a minimum, and keep the photo pdf on your device so you can zoom in to see the detail of each stitch.
