This cropped, long-sleeved bolero sweater is worked from the sleeve cuff to the center, with right and left sides knitted as mirror images. The two pieces are then joined at the center. Stitches are picked up along the neckline and hem for ribbing.

The sleeves are worked in the round using the magic loop technique. At the underarm, knitting continues flat. At the neckline, the piece is divided into front and back sections, and the neckline is shaped with bind-offs.

3.0–5.0 mm (US 2.5–8), or size needed to obtain gauge. You will need 80 cm (32 in) and 40 cm (16 in) circular needles. For cuffs and hem ribbing, use a needle 0.5–1.0 mm (US 1–2) smaller.
