The Solène Hood is a classic balaclava featuring a timeless cable pattern. It is elegant, versatile, and a true wardrobe staple. Designed to keep both the head and neck warm, the delicate cables add a feminine touch and give the design a truly special character.

The balaclava is worked top-down, beginning with the crown section, which is worked flat. Stitches are then picked up and knitted along both sides of the top section. With a few increases, the piece is continued straight down in rows. Below the chin, the work is joined in the round, and the neck is worked in the round on a circular needle.

Gauge/Tension:
24 sts x 35 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4”, in cable pattern using 4.00 mm US 6 needles, after washing and blocking.

Die Solène Hood ist eine klassische Balaclava mit zeitlosem Zopfmuster. Sie ist vielseitig, stilvoll und ein unverzichtbares Basic für jede Garderobe. Sie hält Kopf und Hals angenehm warm, während die Zöpfe dem Design eine feminine und besondere Note verleihen.

Die Hood wird von oben nach unten gestrickt. Zunächst wird das Oberteil in Reihen gearbeitet. Anschließend werden entlang beider Seiten Maschen aufgenommen. Mit einigen Zunahmen wird die Arbeit gerade nach unten weiter in Reihen gestrickt. Danach wird die Arbeit unter dem Kinn zur Runde geschlossen und der Hals in Runden gestrickt. Den Abschluss bilden das Rippenmuster sowie der Tunnelzug für die Gesichtsöffnung.
