This little heirloom bag was inspired
by purses from the Regency era
that were ornamented with glass beads.
They were full of color and dainty floral
motifs. At the time, flowers conveyed
meaning, and thoughtfulness was
attributed to the pansy.

and 11” tall.

YARN Knit Picks Palette (100%
Peruvian Highland wool; 231 yd [211
m]/1¾ oz [50 g]): 1 skein each of the
following 6 colors: #23730 cream
(MC), #24006 verdant heather (olive,
CC1), #24241 camel heather (tan,
CC2), #24013 clematis heather (purple,
CC3), #26054 shoal (dark green, CC4),
#24250 semolina (yellow, CC5). Yarn
distributed by Crafts Americana.

NEEDLES Sides and bottom—size 2
(2.75 mm): 16” circular (cir) and set of 5
double-pointed (dpn). Top—size 1 (2.25
mm) set of 5 dpn.
