This pattern is exactly what its name describes, something simple.
The cables in this tall cowl and hat are big and chunky for a quick knit. The cables in the cowl slowly grow closer together until the top has them almost touching eachother. Cowl is worked in one size while the hat is written for sizes baby to adult medium/large.
