Soneto
Description
This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. First the back neck is cast on, stitches are increased on each side to form back shoulders, and back is worked to underarms. Fronts are picked up from back and necklines are shaped. The front and back are then joined at the underarm and the body is worked in the round. Sleeve stitches are picked up around the armholes, and the sleeve caps are shaped with short-rows. The front features an elaborate lace pattern, and the back is worked in stockinette stitch to keep the garment easy to style.
