The Sorbet Sweater is a raglan sweater with a simple and modern fit. Its name, Sorbet, echoes the Zucchero Filato yarn used for the design, with its bright and tangy colours. Its cotton and wool blend are ideals for summer evenings and transitional seasons. The fabric is soft, light and airy. The fit is comfortable and slightly loose, with understated finishes that highlight the beauty of the yarn. The sweater is worked top down with a raglan construction. Short rows worked flat are first used to shape the neckline. The yoke is then worked in the round with raglan increases until the required sleeve and body width is reached. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold while the body is completed. The sleeves are subsequently picked up and worked in turn. The Sorbet Sweater requiers no seaming.

The Sorbet Sweater is designed to be worn with approximately 10 cm of positive ease at the bust. Measure your bust circumference, add 10 cm and refer to the measurements given to determine your size. If you are between sizes, choose according to your preferred fit, either more fitted or looser.

Sizes : XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL /3XL / 4XL / 5XL
Bust circumference (measured below the arms) : 92 / 97 / 103 / 107 / 111 / 115 / 120 / 126 / 130 cm with 10 cm of positive ease.
Suggested finished length (measured from end of the neckline): 51 / 52 / 53 / 54 / 55 / 56 / 56,5 / 57 / 57 cm.
Stockinette stitch gauge: 10X10 cm - 19 m X 30 rows using 4 mm needles.
Suggested needles: 4 mm circular needles, 40 cm and 80 cm (or only an 80 cm circular needle using the magic loop technique).
Notions: Stitch markers, row counter.
Yarn used: Adriafil Zucchero Filato, colour 83 (50 g – 175 m per ball). ( 250 / 250 / 250 / 300 / 300 / 300 / 300 / 300 / 350 g for 875 / 875 / 875 / 1050 / 1050 / 1050 / 1050 / 1050 / 1225 m).

FRANCAIS

Le pull Sorbet est un raglan à la coupe simple et moderne. Son nom, Sorbet fait écho à son fil Zucchero Filato, aux couleurs vives et acidulées. Son mélange coton laine est idéal pour les soirées d’été et la mi-saison. Sa texture est moelleuse et légère. Sa coupe est confortable, légèrement ample avec des finitions sobres qui mettent en valeur la fibre. Il est tricoté en top down (de haut en bas) avec une construction raglan. Des rangs raccourcis en aller-retour sont utilisés au départ pour façonner l’encolure. L’empiècement est ensuite travaillé en raglan et en rond jusqu’à la séparation du corps et des manches. Les manches sont ensuite mises en attente pour continuer le corps puis relevées pour être tricotées à leur tour. Le pull Sorbet ne demande pas de couture.

Le pull Sorbet se porte avec une aisance poitrine positive de 10 cm. Mesurez votre tour de poitrine, ajoutez-y 10 cm et reportez-vous aux mesures pour choisir votre taille. Si vous hésitez, choisissez la taille en fonction de l’effet souhaité, plus ou moins loose.
