Finished measurements: Neck circumference of 20”/50 cm. Length is 24”/61 cm measured straight down the side of the poncho. Length is adaptable to knitter’s preference.

Yarn: approximately 475 yards of Chunky weight (CYCA #5) yarn. Sample is shown in Soul Wool (100% Superwash Baby Merino; 95 yds/100g) distributed by Yarn Snob Yarns, 5 skeins.

Gauge: 11 sts and 16 rounds = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette Stitch using size needle for gauge.

Needles: US 11 (8 mm) circular needles in 16”/40 cm, 24”/60 cm and 40”/100 cm lengths. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain correct gauge.

Other Materials: tapestry needle, four stitch markers. One marker should be a distinguishing style or color to mark the beginning of the round. The other three markers will be referred to as marker 1, marker 2, and marker 3 in the pattern.
