SPARKLING FOUNTAIN SWEATER by Twinset & Purl

The Sparkling Fountain sweater, this design was a collaboration with Sophie of Botanical Yarn and features the delicate twisted stitch pattern that I used for the Sparkling Fountain socks. As soon as the socks were designed, I knew I had to put this motif on the sleeves of a sweater. The combination of Sophie’s merino and baby Suri alpaca just takes this to the next level. The yarns are held together throughout making a beautiful DK gauge. The sweater has a classic raglan shape but has a slightly boxy fit. The just below elbow length balloon sleeves are perfect for showing off the twisted stitch motif.
