This is an advanced beginner pumpkin pattern that has amazing texture and works up really quickly with the bulky yarn. It’s the perfect trendy pumpkin to add to your Fall decor!!

Don’t have any bulky yarn? Well you’re in luck. They also work up really well when you make them by holding 2 strands of #4 worsted weight yarn together too.

The Spicewood Pumpkin PDF download includes the written instructions as well as 3 different photo tutorials. The first tutorial shows how to work the HDC in the 3rd loop, the second tutorial is for cinching the ends closed and the third photo tutorial helps with making the stem.

What you will need:

• #4 yarn for stem & bulky #5 yarn for pumpkin
• 100 yards for the pumpkin; 10 yards for the stem
• 5.00 mm (H) & 5.50 mm (I) hook
• Yarn Needle
• Poly-fil

•ch = chain stitch
•sc = single crochet
•sc inc = single crochet increase
•hdc = half double crochet
•dc = double crochet
•hdc3l = half double crochet 3rd loop only
•FLO = Front Loop Only
•Picot Stitch
•rep = repeat

•st = stitch
•slst = slip stitch
