DISCLAIMER
Quick disclaimer, please read! These charts were designed
and intended for use on a standard gauge (4.5mm) knit-
ting machine. Knitting machines allow you to create much
finer gauge projects, which is helpful in making colorwork
for detailed motifs such as the Spider-Man logos because
there are more stitches (pixels) you are able to design with.
It’s like increasing your image resolution.

This doesn’t mean that you can’t use them to knit or cro-
chet by hand, HOWEVER! The size of your final project will
NOT be the same! If you don’t use a knitting machine and
the same yarn/tension settings listed below, you will most
definitely end up with a larger motif. Please do a gauge
swatch to estimate the final size of your project.
