The Spider Web fae vest design is a pattern created from a recipe tutorial shared on my patreon Sept. 2022. The inspiration from this design is a fusion of the Forest fae vest from my friend Maiya Levigne of Forever Wanderingg (which was popularized recently from some of my viral reels) with permission I did my own unique interpretation with my fringe modifications and a V stitch variation (these modifications were also shared on my patreon) it is designed to fit the body in a very flattering way. These modifications are also fused into the Spider Web Fae vest pattern.

Since working the festival circuit over the past several years selling the Fae vests, wanted to create similar vests with different motifs on the back to give my customers a wider selection of choices to pick from. This design has been tested in sizes XS-5XL and the pattern also gives instructions to make a children’s size.

It’s great for the spooky season however spiderwebs are a fun vibe all year round. You can get creative with fun colors, or all black looks classy and great of course.

MATERIALS
100-500 Yards of Worsted Weight (size 4) yarn. Red Heart Yarn was used for the pattern pictures. Tester’s yarn: I love this yarn, Big Twist…
Hooks depending on size and gauge:
XS/S: 5 or 5.5mm hook needed to meet gauge.
M/L: 6mm
XL/2XL and 3XL/4XL/5XL : 6.5mm
Kids size: 3.5 to 5 mm hook, depending on size and yarn.

This fun design includes directions on how to make it for sizes XS-5XL. It also includes additional info on how to make it in kids sizes.
This project works up quick with worsted weight yarn and can be made with solid, colorful variegated yarns, or both as well. You can get pretty creative with color palettes (see testers photos for inspiration)

I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I do, happy hooking!
