Spindle Shawl uses a lovely open lace crochet stitch, and a bottom-up construction to create this cosy triangle shawl. The 2-row pattern is easy to memorize ,and the interesting edging adds a stylish twist and pop of colour. You can customize the size by simply adding more repeats.
The main body of the shawl uses a worsted weight cotton yarn. I love the heavy weight of cotton in shawls, it gives a wonderful drape, like a cosy hug, to wrap around your neck. You can use any worsted weight yarn of your choice to make this shawl. Gauge is not important, just make sure you use a hook size that suits your tension.
