Loving the lace? Check out Caramel Frappé shawl!

It is a gathered skirt adorned with a delicate lace hemline. The skirt is worked from the top down, starting with a waistband that allows for an encased elastic. The lace hemline is knitted-on (sideways) to the live skirt stitches, and the lace is seamlessly joined at the end.
Smooth fabric with lovely drape will move beautifully as you walk.

  • a skirt with subtle flare
  • a skirt with full flare

The pattern includes:

  • charted and written instructions
  • detail instructions on how to work and join the lace
  • detail instructions on finishings
  • many useful tips throughout the pattern
  • tips on how to customize length (longer/shorter skirt, wearing the skirt at natural waist line)

Note, sizing is based on low waist measurement, however the pattern include notes on how to choose the size if you like to wear your skirts at natural waist line.

Low wait measurement:
24 (27, 30, 34){38, 43, 48}“
61 (68.5, 76, 86.5){96.5, 109, 122} cm

17 (17.5, 17.5, 18){18.5, 19, 20}“
43 (44.5, 44.5, 45.5){47, 48.5, 51} cm

The pattern is suitable for fingering, light sport or sport weight merino yarns or their blends. By choosing a fingering weight, your skirt will be light and airy. By choosing a sport weight yarn, this skirt will be perfect for colder months.
Blends with silk will add beautiful drape and movement to your fabric while walking.
