OVERVIEW: Spooky Faces is a fun, beginner-friendly project that features “Jackie & Skully.” Jackie is on one side of the accessory, and Skully is on the opposite side of this earwarmer/cowl that brings them to life with glow-in-the-dark pony beads, creating an eye-catching effect. No pre-stringing needed!

FINISHED SIZES
Medium: Fits head circumferences from ~21 - 22 in | 53.30 - 55.90 cm.
Large: Fits head circumferences from ~23 in - 24 in | 58.40 - 61.00 cm.
If you are between sizes, opt for the next larger size. You can easily customize the fit to suit the wearer–see the customization section of the pattern.
GAUGE: 9 rows of 8 sts worked in sc with a size 12.0mm hook = ~4 in height x 4 in width | 10.20 cm height x 10.20 in width.
SUPPLIES
Yarn: ~60 to 70 g of Chunky Weight (#5, Bulky) yarn. Yarn used in the sample cowls/ear warmers: Premier Yarns, Serenity Chunky (#5, Bulky Weight), one skein.
Hooks: Sizes 12 mm and D-3 (3.25 mm)
Pony Beads: Glow-in-the-dark, size 9 mm x 6 mm in color(s) and shape(s) of your choice, 66 beads.
