Pull up a comfy chair, make a hot beverage, light a fire if you’re lucky enough to have one, and get knitting on these spooky mittens! This is a fun and easy colourwork pattern that is a perfect accessory for Halloween. Make them for yourself or a loved one who loves the spooky season!

One size. Finished and blocked mittens measures:
Length: approx. 22 cm/8.7”.
Circumference at widest point: approx. 19 cm/7.5”.
Size can be adjusted by using smaller or larger sized
needles. You can also make the mitten longer by adding
to the number of black rows between colourwork rows,
or shorter by just making one row of the striped border
rows.

The pattern specifies the yarns I have used, but any yarn of the same weight (100gr = 425 meters/465 yards or 50 g = 210 meters/230 yards) will work fine.

Approximate yarn weight needed (if sticking to gauge): 30 g of the MC and 5-10 g of each of the CC’s.

Pattern is written for magic loop, but double pointed needles work as well if you prefer that, just make sure to make necessary adjustments.

Pattern is available in English.

Pattern uses 2 colour stranded knitting, except for one row where there are 3 colours. Option for doing the third colour with duplicate stitches is included in pattern.
