This cowl features a beautiful and fun to knit cabled panel, accented by a simple lace stitch pattern to showcase the variegated colors in the yarn.

The pattern is easy to adjust to your desired size, and the cozy softness of Malabrigo wool is perfect for next to the skin wear.

This pattern is for the intermediate knitter, you need to be familiar with cables, grafting and picking up stitches.

  • There are a couple of options to make your cowl larger, if desired. If you are using Malabrigo Rios, you will need an additional skein if you choose this option.
  • The cable panel is knitted first, as a flat piece. The panel is then grafted together and sts are picked up on either side to make the top & bottom of the cowl.
  • For ease of knitting, there are both written and charted directions given for the cable panel.
