Even the coldest, darkest days of winter promise us the coming again of spring. These mittens with a touch of spring emerging from the motifs remind you of that promise and the looking forward to warmer and brighter days!

This pattern uses 3 different colors of fingering weight yarn in your choice. Pattern colors exemplified are Navy, Cream, and Strawberry.

Two separate charts are included; one for each hand.

Detailed descriptions of mitten and thumb gusset shaping are given, as well as tips for three color stranding (the pattern is 7 pages long, including two pages of charts).

Get a taste of three-color stranding without too big a project: the three color portion is only in the cuff as most of pink done in the upper hand is through duplicate stitch (some options are explained for the best way to achieve the pink stitches).
