A warm but yet light hat for the smallest. Knitted bottom up in pattern stitch with crocheted cords for tying around the chin.

Yarn weight: Light worsted or DK weight, 20 wpi.

Gauge: 34 stitches and 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette.

Suggested needles: Double point needles size US 2/2.5 mm. A crochet needle in approximately the same size (but it is ok with a larger one as well).

Yardage: 230 yards of sand color and 115 yards of turquoise.
