I developed this pattern for making Sprunki (Sprunky) characters that were requested by the neighborhood children. The dolls all start with the same initial head and body shape, so I decided to combine the pattern for all 5 dolls into one document. Depending on which doll you make, you’ll need about 400 yards of the main color. The bulk of the finished dolls came out to 14 inches, with a few extra inches at the top for the dolls that have large appendages on their head. I used a 3.75 mm crochet hook and all medium weight yarn (4) for this project. The pattern should be easy to gauge down if you want to use a lighter weight yarn and a smaller needle size.
