This potholder is my first pattern offering on Ravelry. I am very proud of it because it represents my first journey through the pattern development testing and creating process and the first time I have worked with a pattern tester to perfect my work. Having been in the fashion design business for many years, I know how important fit and accuracy is for sewn garments. Now I am bringing that same attention to detail and fit to my crochet work. Although a potholder does not have that same critical need for fit, it has been a good starting point for learning pattern creation. Working through the entire process has given me a newfound respect for all crochet designers and pattern makers and their dedication to the craft.
