Yarn Choices:
This piece is knit in fingering weight yarn, using about 200g of yarn. It would look wonderful in one color, but I have used 2 & 4 colors in these versions. The pattern does use MOST of the 470 yards of yarn.
See Ravelry Projects page for exact yarn colors and other yarn options.

SAMPLE A:
COLOR A URTH Yarns Monokrom Fingering, #3056 (deep blue) 100g/435 yds
COLOR B URTH Yarns Harvest Fingering, Citrus (bright yellow) 100g/435 yds

SAMPLE B:
This is a yarn set of 4 x 50g skeins = 200g/870 yds.
Lightest color
C1 URTH Yarns Merino Gradient Fingering, #807 50g/217 yds
C2 URTH Yarns Merino Gradient Fingering, #807 50g/217 yds
C3 URTH Yarns Merino Gradient Fingering, #807 50g/217 yds
Darkest color
C4 URTH Yarns Merino Gradient Fingering, #807 50g/217 yds

GAUGE:
using US 4 (3.5 mm) and in the Stocking knit shapes, before blocking (I checked in my knitting, I did not swatch)
24 stitches to 4” & 32 rows to 4”
Gauge is not crucial, except for the need of buying enough yarn and for piece.

SIZE:
with a hard block this is a generous size - 37” tall at center & 65” wide at the top.

Needles:
US 4 (3.5 mm), round, long cable. If using interchangeable tips, I like starting with a shorter cable.
US 3 (3.25 mm) for lower lace edging. (optional) If you are a loose knitter, use smaller needles for lower edge.

Notions:
1 or 2 removable stitch markers & needle or hook to tuck in ends
