Squidlegs is a scarf! With its lines of regular eyelet dots, it looks a little like squid legs, if you use a sufficiently oceanic colorway. (I used Malabrigo Yarns Arroyo in Aguas in the sample.)

You’ll need about 340 yards of DK yarn to knit this scarf as shown.

Gauge is drapey and loose at 14sts and 36 rows in 4” of blocked garter stitch, and the .PDF includes a schematic for reference. There isn’t a lot of lace, but blocking is still recommended.

Despite the name, this long scarf is highly wearable, and more or less traditional. I’d like to try knitting it in a worsted yarn for a slightly bigger, denser, squishier scarf someday, when time allows.
