Squishalicious is a textured triangular shawl with a chevron edging. The textured stitch used creates a very squishy, stretchy fabric.

The pattern is highly customizable and can be knit with just one skein of fingering weight yarn (400m/100g). For a bigger shawl, you could use up to 150g of fingering weight yarn. I would also recommend this pattern as a two-coloured shawl - you can use 100g for the textured body and 50g of a contrasting colour for the chevron edging!
The textured body section comes in two sizes (both work for the one-skein shawl). The chevron garter edging can be bound off at any point so you can use as little or as much yarn as you want.
Since the pattern is very customizable, it would work well for handspun yarns. You could also choose a main colour and knit a contrasting chevron edge with a half-skein of fingering weight yarn which you might have left-over from another project.

This pattern works best for solid, semisolid or speckled yarn. Variegated yarn would also work, although I would use only lightly variegated yarn in order to show off the textured stitch.

You will need both 3.5mm (US size 4) and 4mm (US size 6) circular needles.

Enjoy your shawl! ♥
