Stitch Abbreviation
Ch – chain; st(s) – stitch(es); sk – skip; sp(s) – space(s); sc – single crochet; Puff – puff stitch; yo – yarn over

Special Stitches
FSC - ch2, (does not count as st), insert hook into first ch, yo, pull up loop (2 loops on hook), yo, pull through one loop (2 loops on hook), yo, pull through both loops, one FSC made.
Puff stitch – yo, insert hook into designated stitch, pull up a loop 3x, yo and pull through all 7 loops, ch1 to seal stitch.

Experience Level
Easy - intermediate

Special Pattern Notes:
• Ch1 does not count as a stitch
• When doing your sc across, sc into the ch1 stitch you made to seal your puff
stitch. DO NOT crochet into the puff stitch loop; skip that loop, and sc into the sc immediately after the puff stitch. It is important that you pay attention to this or you will end up with more stitches at the end of your row.
• To make scarf longer, just keep repeating rows 1-22 until you’ve reached your desired length.

Fringes are optional.
