I love designing simple, easy to knit patterns that might look complicated to the beginner but are very easy to knit. And for the experienced knitter? I like to create simple patterns as refreshers in-between complicated patterns or mindless knitting, to sit with and relax and switch off.

This is a design that I have been wanting to design for a few years. It is a simple v neck cardigan but sometimes the simplest of designs takes the longest to do. It’s those simple little details that need the time to blossom in the stitches.

This cardigan uses my favourite stitch pattern, I’ve used it in Heaton Tank Top, Ravenscar Jumper and Hubberholme Child’s Jumper. It is a lovely stitch to just sit and relax with.

I used a long circular to pick up the stitches for the neck edge. It doesn’t have to be super long, I used 60cm for the first size so 80cm would be OK for the other sizes.

Notions: 3 Buttons.
