The Star Puff Ear Warmer uses puff stitches to create a lovely floral star pattern that is thick and squishy. It is sure to keep your ears warm on transitional days in the Autumn or Spring where it isn’t quite cold enough to wear a hat, but just cold enough that your ears might need protection.

Tools and Materials:

• 5.00 mm H-8 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• tapestry needle and scissors
• approx 34 g of worsted or aran weight yarn yarn (sample crocheted in Malabrigo Rios). Other weights of yarn can be used, however, the number of foundation stitches will need to change.
• testers used between 55 and 75 m of yarn

Sizes: Small, (Medium, Large), 51 (53.5, 56) cm 20 (21, 22) in circumference, to fit heads approximately sized 53.5 (56, 58.5) cm 21 (22, 23) in. Size can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of foundation stitches. Sample is size L.
