The Starburst Swirl Hat is a fun variation of a traditional hat, with a few eyelets and changes in the decreases to emphasize the swirls. It can be made as a beanie or slouchy.

Size
Small, 15 – 22 in (38 – 56 cm) circumference, 8.5 in (22.5 cm) tall
Medium, 18 – 28 in (46 – 71 cm) circumference, 9 in (23 cm) tall
Large slouchy, 20 – 28 in (51 – 71 cm) circumference, 10.5 in (26.5 cm) tall
The size can be adjusted up or down by adding or subtracting repeats (8 st) or rounds (2 rounds), or by using different sized yarn and needles.

Gauge
7 st and 9 rows in 2 in (5 cm) of stockinette
Bulky yarns vary a lot in size and stretchability. Please pick the number of stitches to cast on according to your own gauge and size planned.
