The inspiration for this dishcloth came from this post on Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/stark-baking-mad.... I thought it was so funny that I just HAD to put the words on a dishcloth.

You will need a 50 gr ball of 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. My go-to yarn is Bernat Handicrafter, but in knitting this dishcloth, I decided to dig into my stash. The green dishcloth I knit with “The Knitwear Architects Light original cotton yarn. The red dishcloth is knit with Marnel Stonewash 100% cotton. I am not really pleased with either. The Bernat Yarn is a much better choice. Both are knit with the 3.5mm knitting needles, but I should have gone down a size or two for the Marnel yarn, as the lettering does not show as well as using the green yarn (the yarn is a lighter weight and the dishcloth is much smaller).

Knitters need only a basic knowledge of knitting: cast on and cast off, knit and purl.

Please choose a set of needles a size or two smaller than you would normally use to knit this yarn and choose a solid colour yarn. When you are done, block your dishcloth. These three suggestions will help the lettering to ‘pop’.
