The Starlight & Timber Collection evokes winter in the Northwoods. Towering snow-encrusted pines, the aroma of wood smoke lingering in the crisp air, and billions of stars overhead on a crystal clear night. Fingerless and full mitt versions, knit cuff-up with thumb gussets. Adult sizes Medium(Large) included in the pattern.
This project is perfect for the adventurous beginner to
TV-distracted intermediate knitters!

Sizes & Finished Measurements:

-Approximate Finished Measurements:
The finished mitts are approximately 3.75”/9.5cm (4”/10.2cm) wide. They are 9.5”/24cm (9.875”/25cm) long.

The fingerless version are the same width as the full mitts, and 7.75”/19.7cm (7.25”/18.4cm) long.

Yarn Requirements:
Suggested Yarn: #5 Malabrigo Chunky (104 yds/95m per 100g); 100% Merino.
-mittens: 96yds/88m (125yds/114m)
-fingerless mitts: 86yds/44m (95yds/87m)

Needles:
US 7 (4.5mm) & 8 (5mm) DPNs or circular needles for Magic Loop method.

✂️ Notions:
Yarn darning needle, row counter, measuring tape, stitch marker, scissors, stitch holder, garment tag (the samples used leatherette tags from Angie and Britt, and Birch and Cider)

Gauge:
16 sts and 26 rounds = 4”/10cm in stockinette stitch.
