The Beauty of Windows …

I love architecture and more so stained glass
windows. In the UK, we are so lucky to have so
many historic buildings and churches. The one
thing they all have in common are their stunning
Stately Windows.

What will shine through in your cowl? Will it be a vibrant frame or brightly coloured glass?

You will be working in the round. Using a clear combination of knits, purls and slip stitches you will build a beautiful wall of windows.

Written in full with handy progress check boxes, so you can keep a visual track of where you are.

I have formatted this pattern in such a way that you should only need to print page 3 (or page 4 if you prefer to use a charted version).

Saving the planet one unprinted page at a time.

Skills used …

• Long tail cast on. • Knit and purl stitches. • Slip stitches. • standard bind-off.

You will need the following :

DK or Light Worsted yarn : Colour A 50g and Colour B 50g.

3.5mm (US4) 40cm or longer with magic loop (or size required to obtain gauge).

Beginning of round marker.

Tapestry needle (for sewing those dreaded ends in).

Gauge and Size

Measurements when blocked and laid flat : Width : 10 inches (24.5 cm) Height : 10 inches (24.5cm)

If you like the look of this pattern it would be a huge help to me if you would give it a like as I have an overflowing notebook of ideas and this helps me understand what to work on next. Your support of my little dream is so appreciated. Every ‘like’ helps and it’s a known fact I do a tiny happy dance each time I get a notification. I am a terrible dancer!
